This policy explains what personal information RockServ collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. RockServ acts as the data controller for the information described below.
We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, address, phone number, email, and details of the service you are requesting. If you sign up as a business, we also collect business details and the documents you upload (e.g. insurance certificates, trade licences).
We use your information to connect you with businesses, process bookings, manage business applications, keep the platform safe (for example, checking insurance is current), and communicate with you about your account.
When you request a quote or make a booking, we share the details needed to carry out that job (such as your name, address, and contact details) with the relevant business. When a business settles its commission with us, payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor; we do not store card details ourselves. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting support@rockserv.gi. You may also withdraw consent for optional communications, such as marketing.
The app may use device identifiers and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use these for third-party advertising.
